General Purpose: To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of IT projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop integrated project schedules using MS Project
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors and other departments involved in the projects
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Ensure requirements are met through deliverables
  • Provide weekly status on all projects to company personnel
  • Proactively identify potential issues along with recommended solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Facilitate project Lessons Learned and assessment of results

Education and Experience
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Proficient in MS Project and Excel
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Minimum 2 years direct work experience in project management capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Proven experience in strategic planning
  • Proven experience in risk management
  • Proven experience in change management

Description: Responsible for providing new and existing customers expert information and advice in utilizing all available functions in hotel specific accounting software. Perform all phases of training and to ensure customer knowledge and understanding of all system functions through classroom training, automated training videos, and conferencing. Responsible for providing customer support for hospitality specific accounting and payroll software. Perform all phases of support including troubleshooting connections, software questions, and building client relations.
