(TAMPA, FL – 11/02/10) M3 Hotel Accounting has recently been designated by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education (CPE) on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Both the 2-day and 5-day AccKnowledge “Train the Trainer” courses have been evaluated to earn up to 20 or 40 CPE credits for Certified Public Accountants.

The 2-day training, based at M3’s headquarters in Gainesville, Georgia, is a one-on-one course designed to train new users of established M3 customers on the specific functions of the hotel accounting software. Users work directly with an M3 training team specialist to create custom financial reports, budgets and forecasts. They also learn all functions of the general ledger, accounts payable, check writer and other modules, as well as reporting in InnQuire, M3’s data mining tool. The 2-day training session provides up to 20 CPE credits for CPAs.

For new M3 customers, the comprehensive 5-day “Train the Trainer” course, held at M3’s training facility in Tampa, Florida, provides an in-depth look at M3’s AccKnowledge and InnQuire applications. Through one-on-one work with an M3 training specialist, new customers work to build their hotel accounting systems and customize reports, budgets and forecasts. All accounting software functions are reviewed, including general ledger, accounts payable, check writer and various other tools. The 5-day training session provides up to 40 CPE credits for CPAs.
